Agree Terms Of Business
We offer a reduced fee when working on a sole agency basis, exclusively sourcing and securing the best candidate for you. Alternatively, we can work alongside other agencies on our standard sliding-scale fees, based on salary and candidate level. In both cases, you only pay once your chosen candidate starts the role.
Client Visit
When you engage us, a consultant will visit your office to understand the role and your company culture. This helps us brief candidates effectively, give you market insights, and build a lasting relationship that saves time and money on future hires.
We’ll also advise on salaries, market conditions, potential challenges, and how to refine your hiring process to secure the best candidate.
Candidate Search
After meeting with you, we debrief our consultants to identify the best candidates from our database. We also advertise on our site and job boards, handling all responses while keeping your details confidential. Company names are only shared with qualified, interested candidates, and we can maintain confidentiality until interview stage if required.
Screening
Most of our consultants have first-hand experience in support roles across industries, giving them a clear understanding of what each position requires and how to spot top talent. They are extensively trained to follow best practice and provide a diverse, skills-matched shortlist. Every candidate in our database is personally interviewed to verify education, experience, qualifications and career goals, ensuring long-term suitability.
Shortlisting
After screening, we narrow the long list to five–ten candidates, then select those genuinely interested and matching your criteria. You’ll receive a written profile highlighting their suitability along with their unedited CV, helping you assess their skills and personality before choosing who to interview.
Interviews
We can guide you on hiring, interviews, and selecting the best candidate. We recommend at least two interviews so candidates can make informed decisions, but no more than four, as longer processes risk losing talent to other employers.
Feedback
We handle all candidate feedback to protect your reputation and save you time. After each interview, we gather candidates’ honest views on the role and their interest compared with other opportunities. This feedback often proves invaluable in your hiring decisions. We also ask clients to share feedback, ensuring professionalism with candidates and allowing us to give constructive suggestions to both sides. This process helps us better understand each candidate and support you in making the right choice.
Offer Of Employment
Once you’ve chosen a candidate, we present the verbal offer and support them in making a decision aligned with their career goals, ensuring a long-term fit. We also advise on the salary and terms most likely to secure them, taking into account any competing offers.
Contract Of Employment
Once references are approved and the contract is signed, the candidate will resign and confirm their start date. At this point, we issue our invoice, payable within 14 days, which activates your six-month guarantee.
Commencement Of Employment
Once a candidate verbally accepts (subject to references), a written offer or contract is issued and references are taken. We can handle references on your behalf if required, though many clients prefer to manage this directly.
Six Month Guarantee
Our service continues beyond placement. We support candidates in their first months to ensure a smooth transition and your complete satisfaction. If things don’t work out, we’ll discreetly manage the process and help you find a suitable replacement.
